How disputes work

What happens when a seeker raises a dispute about a booking.

Updated June 26, 20261 min read

If a seeker raises a dispute about a booking — for example, claiming a service was not as described, or that something went wrong — Vivaqui reviews both sides before any resolution is applied.

Here is what the dispute process looks like:

A seeker files a dispute through Vivaqui

You are notified and given the opportunity to respond with your account of events

Vivaqui reviews the booking record, messages, and any evidence provided

A resolution is issued — which may include a refund, a partial refund, or no change

Disputes are rare when communication through Vivaqui is clear and the service matches the listing description. The best protection against disputes is an accurate listing and good communication before and during the booking.
