How booking requests work

What happens when a seeker requests a booking and how to respond in time.

When a seeker wants to book you, they select your service, choose a date and time, and send a booking request. You receive a notification — by email and, if you have set it up, by WhatsApp.

You then have the option to accept or decline.

If you accept, the seeker is notified and prompted to pay. Once payment is complete, the booking is confirmed and a conversation thread opens between you and the seeker so you can coordinate details.

If you decline, the seeker is notified. They can request another time or look for another provider. Always include a short note explaining why — it is professional and helps the seeker choose their next step.

Response time matters. Seekers on Vivaqui are often planning around a travel window or a specific week. A slow response risks losing the booking to someone else. Aim to respond to every request within a few hours.
